Community Potluck for Aidalys Rivera-Miller

Help HMT volunteer Aidalys Rivera-Miller become a certified ESL (English second language) instructor and teach English to non-English speakers in the Great Lakes Bay region!

Join us at the HMTBC for a community potluck and bake sale to help sponsor Aidalys's certification, including a training course in Guadalajara, Mexico. More ESL instructors are needed in the region, and you can help by taking in a delicious meal! 

About Aidalys: Aidalys Rivera-Miller is a volunteer at the Historic Masonic Temple and a mom of four who is teaching her girls that it's never too late to go after your dreams! She is a member of Latin Leaders for Education, Advocacy, and Development (LLEAD), Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and was formerly a member of Society of Hispanic Leaders during her time at Delta College. 

Entry is $10 per plate, or $5 for children 12 and under. Bake sale items will be available for additional purchase. Proceeds will be split between Aidalys and the Historic Masonic Temple of Bay City.

Please note that due to stairs leading to our entrance, as well as the bathrooms, our building is not yet accessible to all.
