About the event
Help HMT volunteer Aidalys Rivera-Miller become a certified ESL (English second language) instructor and teach English to non-English speakers in the Great Lakes Bay region!
Join us at the HMTBC for a community potluck and bake sale to help sponsor Aidalys's certification, including a training course in Guadalajara, Mexico. More ESL instructors are needed in the region, and you can help by taking in a delicious meal!
About Aidalys: Aidalys Rivera-Miller is a volunteer at the Historic Masonic Temple and a mom of four who is teaching her girls that it's never too late to go after your dreams! She is a member of Latin Leaders for Education, Advocacy, and Development (LLEAD), Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and was formerly a member of Society of Hispanic Leaders during her time at Delta College.
