About the event
Vanishing Elephant Players presents Sloshed Shakespeare, a fundraiser for our home theater, the Historic Masonic Temple of Bay City! A circle of actors begin the reading of a Star Wars: A New Hope (in a notably Shakespearean style) completely sober, but as the night progresses and the drinks start pouring, who knows how the play will end? YOU, the AUDIENCE, with the power of your donations, get to decide the drunken fates of our actors! This fundraiser will go toward restoring the front foyer and the installation of a beautiful new mural! This is the space that welcomes our guests to the HMT, so it's sure to make a big impact!
Show starts August 14th at 6:30pm, with doors opening at 6pm.
