About the event
Temple Youth Theatre Troupe present The Wizard of Oz by Claude Townley, based on the novel by L. Frank Baum. The worlds of Kansas and Oz are brought to life on the blue room stage in this non-musical stage play version! The culmination of months of learning and hard work from local students age 6-13 and the final presentation of our first Temple Youth program. Watch the adventures of Dorothy and her friends in the classic American fairytale, and see the creative works of our Temple Youth students on display.
Performance dates:
May 3 & 4 at 6:30pm
May 5 at 2pm
Tickets are $10, or $5 for students and seniors. All proceeds go toward the restoration of our home theater, the Historic Masonic Temple of Bay City. Please note that due to stairs leading into the building, as well as down to the bathrooms, our building is not yet accessible to all.
